Bay Village is conveniently located to both houses.  It is the town center for shopping with a variety of
shops and excellent restaurants.  Fantasy Island is right next to Bay Village and offers a waterslide, amusements and miniature golf for the children.  Marinas are near both houses for boating, jet skiing and parasailing.                                                                                                                      

Designated biking and walking/running paths making it convenient for those activities. 

The Surflight Theatre has many Broadway productions throughout the summer and is something that
should not  be missed.  The Showplace Ice Cream Parlor is also a special treat for all ages.

Outdoor concerts are held throughout the summer at the Veteran's Bicentennial Park, which is directly opposite the Surflight Theatre.  Music lovers will really enjoy listening to the wonderful sounds.

Atlantic City is only a forty minute ride from Long Beach Island for some gambling and nightlife excitement.
 
For those who enjoy golf and tennis, there are public tennis courts on the Island and three public golf
courses within twenty to thirty minutes.
